To ensure the development of new businesses and lead the team to complete projects to a specific schedule and within agreed budgets


Key performance areas

o    Assists with the agency’s future and helps set up short- and long-term goals and objectives in business planning objectives

o    Contributes to the client planning process, selling full service solutions, and ensuring that the capacity of client service compliments the business needs.

o    Ability to direct simultaneous projects and ensure they are delivered on time

o    Devote considerable time to clients and their teams to foster strong and long term relationships

o    Cultivate client relationships through meetings and phone calls to understand their business, expectations and needs and that the agency delights our clients continuously

o    Working with account teams to craft strategies, develop creative approaches and manage budget.

o    Lead and approve budgets and expenses and generate reports as needed

o    Financial management, control and stewardship of the projects in order to maintain profitability

o    Analyses actual expenditure, explains variances, and determines options in use of available budget to meet real needs

o    Assesses financial performance and instigates required improvements of profitability.

o    Manage with other team leads pitching process for new business acquisition.

o    Ability to lead teams, work under pressure and negotiation skills

o    Provide regular updates to clients on the progress of customer service projects.
Coordinate internal projects and determine the best utilization of resources to increase customer satisfaction.

o    Attending meetings with clients to build relationships with existing accounts.
Working closely with Account Managers and Sales Consultants.

o    Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by clients.

o    Provide leadership to the brand/client service teams in advertising, communication and strategy and client handling.



  • Degree in Social Sciences or other related academic qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Must have experience in account management from a reputable advertising agency company
  • Mature with the ability to lead and mentor a team
  • Able to meet strict deadlines
  • Have passion and enthusiasm at all times
  • Be solutions orientated, with attention to detail
