As a General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of our dairy operations. You will be responsible for the overall profitability, growth, and strategic direction of the company.

This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the dairy/ FMCG industry.


  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies and business plans to achieve company goals, including market expansion, product diversification, and cost management.
  2. Financial Management: Monitor and control the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure cost-effective production and efficient resource allocation.
  3. Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of dairy operations, including milk, yogurt, cheese, and other products production, processing, packaging, and distribution. Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  4. Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to promote dairy products and expand market share. Identify new sales channels and partnerships.
  5. Supply Chain Management: Manage the supply chain, including procurement of all raw materials, inventory management, and distribution logistics.
  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality and safety through rigorous quality control measures and adherence to industry regulations and standards.
  7. Human Resources: Recruit, train, and manage a skilled workforce. Foster a positive work environment and promote employee development.
  8. Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly regarding food safety and environmental regulations.
  10. Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and technologies. Drive innovation in product development, production processes, and sustainability initiatives.
  11. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and market risks that may affect the company’s performance.
  12. Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO on the company’s performance, progress toward goals, and challenges.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in dairy/FMCG industry management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
  • Excellent financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of dairy production processes and industry trends.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and relevant industry-specific software.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with quality and safety standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability practices in the dairy industry.
  • This role may require regular visits to the farms’ processing plant and distribution facilities.
